We are delighted to announce the appointment of Fran Kemp as Director of Business Services.
With a 24-year career in financial services, Fran has worked for various top local firms, holds Chartered Status, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, and is working towards achieving her Fellowship. With a belief that there is always more to learn, she has also developed her experience, skills and knowledge in operations, marketing and compliance.
Fran holds a firm set of principles and objectives that she has relied upon to keep her on the right path, which she says is largely driven by implementing robust internal processes in which all staff can feel confident. Together with reducing and removing stress, Fran says her three main ‘people’ objectives are that staff feel listened to, supported and empowered.
Commenting on her appointment, she says “I am excited about the opportunities ahead and eager to collaborate with the talented team at SGWM to drive growth and success for our clients.”
In addition to her commitment to achieving exceptional results, Fran is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity within the financial services sector. She adds, "It is essential that we continue to foster an environment where diverse perspectives thrive. I am committed to not only making a positive impact within SGWM, but also to encouraging more women and young professionals to explore and excel in the financial services industry."
Married to Al, a Financial Planning Analysis Manager at Oyster Yachts, Fran is also a mum to son Ed and daughter Lily – and two fur babies named Harry and Dude!
Managing Director, Stephen Girling, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Fran – a highly experienced, versatile and ambitious individual who I am certain will be an asset to our business. We are proud to be an inclusive workplace where everybody has the opportunity to thrive in what has been a traditionally male-dominated profession. I am sure Fran will enjoy a hugely successful career here with us at SGWM and will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the company."
