The aim of these events was simple: to bring people together in relaxed and welcoming surroundings. Guests enjoyed live jazz music, a light-hearted quiz, and a delicious selection of refreshments, all contributing to an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Most importantly, it was a genuine pleasure for our team to spend time in such great company. We were delighted to hear how much our guests valued the opportunity to connect and celebrate with us.

Reflecting on our journey

Occasions like these are incredibly important to us. They provide a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect on how far we have come, and recognise the individuals and organisations who have played such a significant role in our journey.

During their speeches, our Chairman, Andy Wood OBE DL, and Managing Director, Henry Gaskin, paid tribute to our late former Managing Director and founding director, Stephen Girling, co-founder Neil Shillito, and Henry’s late father, Stanley Gaskin, founder of Stan Gaskin Ltd (acquired in 2011).

Their dedication to clients and belief in long-term relationships continue to shape how we operate today, forming a core part of our culture and identity. Their legacy remains an integral part of who we are.

Reaching this milestone is something we are incredibly proud of, but it also provides an opportunity to look ahead. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain committed to maintaining the high standards of service and personal approach that have defined us from the outset—supporting our clients in achieving their long-term financial goals.

Supporting our communities

As part of this milestone, we are proud to launch the SG Wealth Community Funds, in partnership with the Norfolk and Suffolk Community Foundations. Through this initiative, we have pledged to contribute a percentage of our annual profits to support local communities.
