We’re incredibly proud to once again be supporting arts in the community for a fifth consecutive year, through our principal sponsorship of Norwich Baroque.

Founded in 2006, the dynamic musical ensemble has recently achieved charity status and boasts Michael Chance CBE, internationally acclaimed countertenor, as their Patron.  They perform regularly in venues across Norfolk, working with eminent soloists from the early music world to give fresh and vibrant performances of music by popular and less well known Baroque composers.

Commenting on the sponsorship renewal, SGWM’s Managing Director, Stephen Girling, says

“A benefit of our principal sponsorship with Norwich Baroque is that it allows us to share many of the group’s performances with our clients and associates.  The performances are greatly appreciated and our annual Gala concert at Norwich Cathedral has become a regular highlight of the SGWM calendar!   I am pleased to once again be supporting such a wonderful charity in the performing arts community.”

Jim O’Toole, Director of Norwich Baroque added

“I feel incredibly fortunate to have such generous sponsorship from SGWM, a local company which really seems to care about investing in their community. Of course the money helps – financial security means we can be more innovative with our programming, but also it is genuinely lovely to see senior members of SGWM and their families attend many of our concerts.  We are lucky to have them on board!”
